Ancient and modern... Some of these pieces contain hardwoods that date back many centuries. The wood is often obtained from reclamation stores who procure ancient beams and struts used centuries ago in the construction of homes, barns and mills. Some of these lamps were once part of medi-eval barns and houses. Now, they are put to new and practical uses, yet retain the timeless patina and characteristic of ancient English timber.
